Letting Go of the Bundle of Pressure: Somatic Burnout, Scorpio Deep Waters, and the Spiral of Healing
Learning to listen to the warning signs of your body is an important skill; it is helping you see what needs to be acknowledged and healed.
Happy October, lovelies.
I hope you are enjoying the crisp fall leaves changing color and the quiet, cooler mornings that this beautiful season brings. Autumn is nature's grand demonstration of the beauty of letting go—yet, so many of us spend this season gripping tighter, trying to muscle our way through a heavy bundle of internal pressure.
I have been struggling with a period of chronic pain for a bit now. Over years of working with somatic practices, I’ve learned that physical pain is rarely just a localized physiological mishap; it is a profound message. Whenever pain flares up, I look inward and ask: What is my body trying to tell me? What is it trying to teach me? And just as importantly: What cosmic currents are moving through the planetary grid right now that might be echoing inside my nervous system?
Our bodies hold an intelligent, non-verbal wisdom. When we choose to listen rather than medicate or ignore the noise, we decode the subcortical scripts of where we are breaking down.
The Weight of Saturn and Scorpio Realignment
Spiral Of Healing
Currently, Saturn has been Retrograde in Aries since July 26, 2026. This means that for the last few months, you have been doing deep, internal structural work regarding your personal boundaries, automatic "yeses," and ancestral commitments. For me, this transit has manifested as a heavy mantle of responsibility. It is an old, deeply grooved pattern of behavior and belief—the exhausting idea that if I do not carry the world on my shoulders, everything will collapse. My body is staging a revolt because it wants me to notice this pattern.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been moving through dense, slow-moving planetary transits. Because these outer planets take their time, you have likely felt a heavy, restrictive energy building up in your tissues for well over a week.
Consider what is happening in the sky over the next two weeks:
Venus Retrograde in Scorpio (October 3 – November 13): Having just turned backward, Venus is initiating a raw, deep excavation of our relationships, hidden shadows, and core values. It forces us to look at where we are settling for half-truths.
The New Moon in Libra (October 10): Sitting directly opposite a stern, restrictive Saturn, this New Moon demands a hard relationship or lifestyle reset. It provides a blank slate, but only if we are willing to implement firm, uncompromising boundaries.
Venus Square Mars & Sun Opposing Saturn (Ongoing through mid-October): This aspect creates high friction between active and receptive energies, layered with serious planetary blocks that limit easy outward expression. It's the classic "tired-but-wired" sensation.
Pluto Stationing Direct (October 15): Pluto stops dead in the sky to shift forward, bringing an intensely concentrated dose of transformative, evolutionary pressure to our underlying psychological foundations.
The Vessel is Under Maintenance
The sky is telling your body to pull its foot off the accelerator. Trying to sprint through tasks, over-schedule your calendar, or cross items off your to-do list right now will likely result in physical burnout, systemic fatigue, or injury.
Treat your body like a sacred vessel undergoing necessary seasonal maintenance. This is a time to clear out old emotional clutter, rest your joints, unhinge your jaw, and let the physical bracing dissolve naturally through gentle restoration rather than forcing it through intense, punishing workouts.
To help unpack the somatic armor you might be wearing, take a deep breath down into your pelvis and honestly ponder these questions:
Am I truly ready to shift the script about the nature of the responsibilities I am carrying?
What was never mine to carry, but I picked up anyway because I was modeled it in childhood?
Is what I am doing actually my responsibility, or am I stepping into someone else's yard?
Am I enabling another person by doing a task they are fully capable of handling themselves?
Am I playing the subconscious hero or trying to be seen and praised for my hard work?
Am I over-functioning simply to satisfy an old rule that I must be an ultra-responsible person to be safe and loved?
Healing is a Spiral, Not a Straight Line
Sometimes, when old physical pains or emotional triggers show up again in our lives, it can feel incredibly frustrating or discouraging. Frequently, clients will say to me in moments of exhaustion, "But I already did the therapy. I already processed this trauma. Why is it back?"
Let this be your gentle reminder that healing is not linear. It does not move from point A to point B on a flat plane. Healing is a spiral. We circle back around to the same core themes—the same boundaries, the same over-working scripts, the same family rules—but every time we return, we are standing on a higher loop of awareness. Each re-emergence is simply an opportunity to refine our boundaries, practice deeper self-preservation, and master the art of slowing down.
Because the cosmic and biological currents are harmonizing to call us into deep rest, it is vital to have an intentional structure to lean into. I am offering a series of specialized virtual somatic and sound spaces designed to help you drop the armor, listen to your tissues, and get clear on your true capacity. You don't have to navigate the weight of the bundle alone.
Ready to drop the armor and realign? If you are navigating physical tension or rewriting your personal boundary lines, you do not have to hold the weight alone.
